SKYWATCH donates watches to help various charities across the country raise funds. Here's a look at some of the organizations we've supported and how they make a positive change in people's lives.
Minds Matter is a transformative program that inspires students by providing knowledge and skills necessary for unlocking their full potential and enhancing academic performance. SKYWATCH donated timepieces to the auction to help fund Minds Matter LA. Minds Matter was established in New York in 1991 by six Wall Street professionals to mentor and tutor inner-city high school students, as well as assist them with applications to competitive preparatory schools.
SKYWATCH contributed watches to Trevor Live at the Hollywood Palladium put on by the Trevor Project in 2010 & 2011, as well as the New York event in 2011. Lady Gaga was the Trevor Hero Award Honoree at the star-studded gala in December 2011. The Trevor Project is an organization committed to ending suicide among LGBTQ youth by providing life-saving and life-affirming resources including a nationwide, 24/7 crisis intervention lifeline, digital community and advocacy/educational programs that create a safe, supportive and positive environment for everyone.
The 9th Annual John Varvatos Stuart House Benefit is held at the John Varvatos boutique in Los Angeles. An afternoon of food, music by Dave Matthews, shopping and silent and live auctions. SKYWATCH donated three timepieces to benefit the Stuart House. The Stuart House is an internationally recognized model program of the Rape Treatment Center at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center serving the special needs of sexually abused children.
SKYWATCH donated timepeices to the 18th annual gala in 2011 and the 19th annual gala in 2012 to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County. Held at the Jupiter Island Club, the galas included a wonderful silent and live auction. Donations to the auction at the Annual Gala help the Boys & Girls Club provide a safe and fun place for children to go after school and during the summer.
The Levitt Pavilion Pasadena held their 9th annual fundraising gala titled “The Rhythm of Pasadena”. The evening featured a cocktail reception on an outdoor terrace, a delicious dinner provided by Noor and live entertainment by Art Deco. By attending The Rhythm of Pasadena, guests had an exclusive opportunity to support the Levitt’s 10th year of free summer concerts by participating in live and silent auctions featuring one of a kind items and priceless experiences. SKYWATCH donated two timepieces to the auctions.
SKYWATCH donated timepieces to the auction at the 20th Annual Fiesta de Inspiracion Scholarship and Alumni Awards Gala. The UCLA Latino Alumni Association is committed to organizing Latino alumni and other friends of the University of California, Los Angeles, UCLA, for the benefit and advancement of the Latino community, UCLA alumni, students, faculty, and staff.
SKYWATCH contributed watches to the silent auction at Villa Esperanza’s Blue & White at Night fundraiser. Villa Esperanza Services has been at the forefront of creating programs to give the developmentally disabled the chance to learn, work and play with others. Today, Villa serves 24 school districts and over 41 cities in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
The Realogy Charitable Foundation coordinates the philanthropy of Realogy through its local chapters in the communities where the Company has a presence. In 2011, the RCF and its local chapters across the United States contributed $1.8 million to 619 charities. Since inception in 2004, the foundation has donated more than $18 million to support more than 2,200 charities. SKYWATCH donated timepieces to silent auctions benefitting the foundation.
SKYWATCH donated timepieces at the 2011 & 2012 JTD events. The proceeds from the events provide scholarships and financial aid for students, enrich JTD’s academic programs, and provide for the faculty’s professional development.
SKYWATCH donated watches to the Carousel Ball to benefit the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. The Children’s Diabetes Foundation at Denver was established by Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Davis in 1977 in Denver, Colorado as a non-profit organization dedicated solely to the support of research in childhood diabetes and to provide the best possible clinical and educational programs for children with this disease.
